Excellent Info Dan. I really enjoy the Mayan History that Mexico has preserved and it is nice to get the inside info and some great pics & videos on these places !! Looking forward to your other half arriving and new videos soon !!!
Dan, excellent coverage of beaches. You've reminded me I need to visit the town/beach area of Tulum. I have been diving at lots of their cenotes and visited the ruins. Two possible slips or corrections: PDC is north of Tulum. It is more like 35 minutes not 20. The airport normally used by PDC is Cancun which is 50 minutes away not 20. Small nitpicky corrections so no big deal. I am shocked you remember so much as it is !! Your knowledge never ceases to amaze. BTW, when will Qiang arrive? Or is she there now??
I really like your videos and admire how you are living your life Dan. Keep it coming! I do have a suggestion about a small thing though… your pronunciation of Spanish place names sometimes. On one hand who cares, but on the other I fear it could impact your credibility when offering info about a particular place, if it's being "mis-pronounced." Spanish vowel pronunciation is actually pretty simple, much simpler than English for example. A couple a quick tips are that usually: A is short as in "casa" or "fiesta." O is long as in "bueno" or "patio." I is just like a long E as in "chica" or "patio." And E is like eh as in "Entienda? (Understand?)" Also, the first syllable of Merida has an accent so is pronounced (quickly) MEHR-ree-da (always roll Rs). Anyway, just trying to help. Wish I was there!
Hola Amigo Que Tal. Newbie here since you were in the Philippines. I hope your girlfriend arrives soon. I am Interested in learning how easy or difficult was for her to apply for a Mexican tourist visa. I hope you can do a video regarding the Visa process. Best wishes on your endeavors. Hasta luego.
Just a brief note: the oldest inhabitated city in the Americas is Mexico City also known as TenochtitlΓ‘n, founded in June 1,325. It was a huge city when the Spaniards came in 1521, perhaps, TenochtitlΓ‘n-Mexico City was one of the largest if not the largest in the world at the time.
Nice video Dan! Tulum sounds excellent. If you ever feel so inspired, a tour of the renovated mansions of Merida would be very interesting imo. Plus youβd get to be in Merida again lol.
Good video..have a suggestion though. In many of your videos you continuously refer to link provided and/or take time for a plug to share, like ect to grow the channel. I think those two things interrupt the flow of the video and subject and imo would be better to put either at the beginning, end or both, or text comment at the bottom during the video.
Have to disagree with you on Mexico. Narco-state and if the cartel members don't get you the police will. What day or night it will happen is a fate guided crap shoot. Not worth the risk.
